PANstrat Solutions makes it easier for the
hospitality industry to keep up with the latest technological developments on the
market, with its PANhospitality suite. Unlike many other hospitality software offerings,
which are not seamlessly integrated, comprising of reservations, property management,
point of sale, stock control, debtors, creditors, budgeting, general ledger, management
reports and multi-currency accounting solution runs on the Windows operating systems.
With its GUI (graphic user interface) front-end and mouse point-and-click functionality, PANhospitality is easy to use, eliminating the need to type in commands as required by DOS-based software," says PANstrat director, Neil van Coller. "Additionally, users who aren't familiar with DOS-cased applications find them difficult to learn, while solutions run on Windows are so user-friendly that users can easily teach themselves if necessary, or access online help if they need to." "Almost all other software released today is Windows-based which makes just about any application compatible with PANhospitality," he continues. "Windows also makes more effective use of available memory to achieve quicker response from applications. Like other Windows-based solutions, van Coller says users also find PANhospitality easy to learn and use, even if they have little or no computer experience. "Minimal training is required to become comfortable with the system, and experience in hotel management or bookkeeping is also not a prerequisite." PANstrat also provides 24 x 7 support to all its users. This not only includes technical support on the PANhospitality application, but also assistance on any bookkeeping or general computer queries. According to van Coller, PANstrat has also configured its PANhospitality Suite to run on Linux, the free, open-source operating system, "This will make our offering even more affordable to the market, and provides further assurance that PANstrat always remains on par with the latest industry trends and developments," he says.
